Let’s Beat Bowel Cancer is a not-for-profit initiative fighting to lower bowel cancer-related deaths through public awareness, research and medical advances.

We know it’s possible to save many lives, because even though bowel cancer is the second biggest cause of cancer-related death in Australia, it is also the most preventable.

Did you know?

Bowel cancer is one of the most preventable and treatable cancers.

Each week bowel cancer kills almost 100 Australian men and women.

More than 90% of people survive bowel cancer if it is detected and treated early.

Cabrini is one of the leading three hospitals in Australia for treatment of bowel cancer, so we are uniquely placed at the forefront of the vital clinical research into Australia’s second leading cancer killer. Funds raised for Let’s Beat Bowel Cancer are crucial to allowing us to conduct this research which improves the health outcomes of our patients and the community.
